2016 is here and though I may be late to the game in reflecting on 2015, I have been looking back on how amazing the year was. In the midst of the busyness of life, I don’t stop and appreciate (often enough) just how many wonderful things come our way. It is so easy to focus on the negative things, the failures and hardships, but I wanted to take a second and share some of my top accomplishments/moments this year that really were special for David and I:) #topninemoments #innoparticularorder…..(click open to see more!:)1) My photos were published in some amazing online blogs and magazines! @magnoliarouge is a longtime fav – was honoured to have one of my fav NZ shoots shared there:)2) Travelled to NZ, Australia, NYC, Toronto, The Rockies (to name a few) all for weddings or shoots! …and we get to go back for more NZ weddings next month!:) #icouldlivethereforever
3) Was voted the Gold Winner for Halifax’s Best Wedding Photographer of 2015! (I am still floored! Thanks guys!:)
4) We had the MOST amazing clients ever this year! Now that busy season is slowing down, GET READY for an amazing amount of blogposts from the summers top weddings.
5) We found out that we are PREGNANT and expecting a baby this spring! #itsagirl! #21weeks #dueinmay #stillshootingafullseasonin2016 #icantbelievewearegoingtobeparents
6) Worked on some amazing styled shoots with the most #inspiring and creative local wedding vendors (@elegantproductions, @chelsealeeflowers, @sashataylor.makeupartist, @gillianhannahberrydesigns, @justicedcustomcakes, @allisonkirby @locustartjewellery @lindsaymcmullen @cerysbryant…to name a few!;)
7) Started a new business venture with @davidlloydbryant renting harvest/farm tables for weddings! #ocherandwhite #halifaxharvesttables #gladimarriedacarpenter
8) Started shooting Medium Format Film again: I love the results #filmisnotdead #fineartphotographer #contax645 #noregrets
9) We bought a house! #lettherenovationsbegin #hydrostonemarket #northendhalifax
I could probably think of more including: ‘celebrating 4 amazing years of marriage with @davidlloydbryant my best friend and partner in everything!’ But for now I wanted to share these top 9 and say #thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support and friendship over the year(s)! #2015 would not have been the same without you all!:)
